| History | 1989, we started an embedded software business as a distributor of the realtime operating system VxWorks of Wind River Systems at the electronics division of KOBE STEEL LTD., the large steel manufacturer in Japan. 1997, we started the new era of our original embedded middlewares business. 2001, started new business of the embedded database of Solid Information Technology corporation. 2003, the embedded software group was partitioned from Kobe Steel, and founded the new company, TEPCO UQUEST, LTD. Then Tokyo Electric Company provided major capital for us.
